That's a lot!
ReplyDeleteWow... This just made me suddenly realize how many YA novels are being made into movies. It IS a lot. Not sure if this is justified, but it makes me feel happy optimistic feelings about the market.
ReplyDeleteThat's great. So just maybe we're on the Hollywood turn away from continuous remakes and remakes of remakes. Woot!
ReplyDeleteMy kids love to watch these kinds of movies, but I always encourage them to read the book too and see how it compares to the movie. They're currently reading “Through Angel’s Eyes” by Steve Theunissen, you can check it out and get it right off the website http://sbpra.com/stevetheunissen/. I think since they're so in to the subject matter I may have them pick up The Color Purple next and then watch the movie. Great post, it's interesting to see in which direction movies have turned lately!
ReplyDeleteSo many movies I can't wait to see! Yay!
ReplyDeleteLove it. I had no idea so many books had hit the screen. I should have know better. :-)
ReplyDeleteBreaking Dawn! Eeeee! Can. Not. Wait. : )
