After almost a month of waiting, I FINALLY got my hands on Insurgent (the sequel to Divergent) by Veronica Roth. My local Barnes & Noble was continuously sold out, and every time I'd leave empty handed I'd tell myself...they'll have it in a few days. Eventually I just had to order the dang thing, that's how fast it was flying off the shelves. Veronica announced on her blog a few weeks ago that it was the #1 New York Times Bestseller, and today...it STILL is.So what did I do after I got my hands on this new YA craze-favorite book? I couldn't read it. Okay, I read the first chapter, then I just got really worried about what I would do when it was over, haha! I'm a very very picky reader, and when I find good books that inspire me like Veronica Roth's books do, I savor them, because once it's over, it's over. Then what?!
I've since read chapter one about 3 times, but haven't moved on. I will...I want to, trust me. I just...really want it to last.
So...who has read it? Was it awesome? Better than book 1? Don't you dare say a word of what happens, but I'd love to hear your reactions.

ReplyDeleteI read it and it was amazing and i think im going to read it again in a few days got alot of books on my list to read but veronica roth is on my top 5 authors list insurgent was brilliant
