The Buzz: City of Bones THE MOVIE

Hey Blogger World! I just saw this online. I'm not a huge fan of the series, but for those of you who are...TAH DAH! (IMDB Link)

So I stopped reading after book 1...thoughts on whether or not I should continue? Anyone LOVE these books?

  1. I read up to book three since it was originally a trilogy. Anything after that scares me because I think it ended perfectly in City of Glass.

    1. Interesting that she chose to continue. I wonder if she wasn't done or the publisher wasn't ;)

  2. I haven't read any of the series yet. I know, I know. Shame on me.

...So many books, so little time! ;)

  3. Oooh, pretty :) I LOVE TMI! It's one of my favorite series! But, truthfully, I'm not that excited for the movie....I'm still not happy with who they chose to be Jace :( Bleh.

BUT, you have to read the rest of the series! I know a lot of people who haven't read past the 1st books, but you just HAVE to read at least the 1st 3 books! And I don't want to say why because I don't like spoiling things for people ;) But just give the next 2 books a shot!

  4. I've read all the books except the most recent one, it's on my TBR list. I enjoyed them because they are fast past and basically deliver all the fun I want in a novel with action/romance etc. I've described them as "book candy" lol. To me they're fun to read.

  5. Ah, I love this series! I'm kind of worried with Clary being played by Lily Collins... I just never pictured Clary to be like that.

Personally, I thought City of Ashes was better than City of Bones. But City of Glass surpasses both of those books. :)

    1. Crazy to know that they got better as the series went on. I'm hoping that's how my series will go :)

  6. I never read past book 1 either! Mostly because I listened to it on audiobook and I didn't prefer the narrator.
