In celebration of the news, I'm going to copy genius author/marketer/awesome-lady Susan Kaye Quinn and host a SHARE A BOOK Giveaway! Thanks Susan for this awesome idea, I hope you don't mind me using it :)
Here's how it works:
1. MY PART: I'll be giving away 3 copies of Oppression (Children of the Gods #1)
2. YOUR PART: Each winner agrees to GIVE AWAY their copy of Oppression (after they've read, signed, & dated it) to a friend, a friend of a friend, a stranger, anyone you think will enjoy the book.
My hope is that it will be kind of like a signed yearbook after a while, with the names of everyone who has read it. If it sounds confusing, don't worry, I'll include instructions. Just read, sign, pass on...
3. GOODIES: Each initial winner will also get an Oppression notebook (and that's yours to keep, since you are kicking off the sharing). I'll include signed bookmarks to be passed along to the others as they share the book.
If you've already read Oppression, you can still enter to win a copy to give to a friend
(as you'll have to pass it along anyway).
Giveaway ends Wednesday 7/18!

Great idea! :) I hope this gets some excellent WOM going. :)
ReplyDeleteMe too! :) I hope all is going well with your book, Carrie!
DeleteThanks, Jessica! I just finished my back cover synopsis. :)
DeleteDaughter of Zeus with the power of electricity.
ReplyDeleteHa! I like how you picked the post powerful god. Go Megan!
DeleteThat's a cool idea! Know you're excited about the release date of your next book.
ReplyDeleteOH YEAH! Can't wait!!
DeleteI would be a descendant of Athena with the power of wisdom. Who cares about muscles if you can out-think and out-maneuver the enemy and never get within striking distance?
ReplyDeleteGood point. Are you sure you aren't already, lol?
DeleteHa! Easy question :) My favorite Greek god is Apollo, so I would like to be a descendant of him with the ability to heal. I've always loved that ability...and since I'm going into nursing it makes sense! lol
ReplyDeleteBut my other favorite goddess is Hecate, the goddess of magic. Okay maybe this wasn't such an easy question, lol. But I'd like to be a descendant of either of these 2 :)
I knew you'd like this question :)
DeleteDescendant of Artemis! She's always been a favorite of mine! I would be amazing with my arrows, and Artemis and I could go hunting together! Plus, I love the moon and nighttime.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice :) Thanks for stopping by! Good luck with the giveaway!
DeleteOooo....can't wait for the 3rd! Yay!
ReplyDeleteMe either! XD Squueeeeeaaa!
DeleteAwww....i get all excited until I get to the part "(US/Canada)" only. Living int the UK does suck sometimes!
ReplyDeleteI know...I'm going broke sending things overseas, lol. BUT there is an international giveaway on GoodReads!
DeleteArtemis or Themis - I would want to be a warrior for/protector of the weak or endangered [like the girl on the beach! :)].
ReplyDeleteJust finished Oppression a couple of days ago and I can't wait to read the next one!
I'm so happy you liked Oppression, Kelli! Great choice :) I'm glad you were inspired by the beach scene.
DeleteHmmm...toughie. I'd like to be the daughter of Poseidon with mermaid like powers... which is pretty much being a really awesome swimmer.
ReplyDeleteI'd love that ability as well. I'm not the best swimmer...
DeleteThe whole sign and share sounds like an awesome idea!
ReplyDeleteOh and I've always loved Athena and her wisdom/justice
DeleteThis sounds like a great idea for a giveaway! Thanks so much for commenting on my blog recently (that was super exciting for me, BTW!). I hope to be able to read Oppression really soon!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like so much fun! Love the idea. And I can't wait for Tuesday!!
