Flash Fiction Favorites

As part of Rachael Harrie's Platform-Building Campaign, participants were asked to submit a 200-word flash fiction piece beginning with the words, "The door swung open." Nearly 400 stories were submitted, and so many of them were great. I'm sure there are a ton I haven't read that are amazing. Out of those I have read, I wanted to feature my favorites on my blog. The following five really stood out to me, and though many others did too, I can't post them all.

    Thanks for sharing this, Jessica! I got overwhelmed looking at the linky list, so I haven't read many outside of my campaign groups.

    I can't tell you how happy it makes me that people liked the story. I cabbage patched for five days straight. Whoop whoop!
